Ive got the same problem (i have very limited knowlege when it comes to computers so bear with me). I have unchecked the power management box in RealTek PC1e FE Family (via Device Manager) based on my search online, here is what I have so far: net start find 'servicename' > nul 2>&1: General Discussion: windows wireless service. if servicename is not running, then start servicename, then record the date and time.

I have looked at WWAN, WLAN and they are on automatic. Batch file to start a service if the service is not running Here what I want : if servicename is running, do nothing.

“Default gateway not available – Fixed” appears and then I close the troubleshoot box and all is well for a few minutes if I am lucky. The problem is fixed in about 90% of the time. I have no internet connection after rebooting the pc and when I right click on the internet icon on the task bar and then left click on “Troubleshoot problems”, the dialogue box starts and eventually Ive tried the useless repair connection button but it says windows wireless service is not running on this computer so i click repair only to be told it. I have also had the “Windows wireless….not running…….” And I believe it started after a Windows software update done on my HP laptop last weekend (5 or 6 Dec).
